Our Mission

Amplifying Voices, Inspiring Change

Azina Film Hub harnesses the unique power of film and media to communicate, inspire, and empower. We work in some of the most challenging environments — refugee camps, remote villages, and underserved urban settlements.

Our participatory approach ensures that communities are not just audiences but active creators of content. We train local filmmakers, facilitate community discussions, and co-produce media and film content that addresses real needs — from health, education to conflict resolution.

Every story we tell is rooted in the lived experiences of the people we serve. Every film we screen is designed to inform, to heal, and to ignite the possibility of a better future.

What We Do

Our Core Programs

Community Screenings

Open-air film screenings that bring communities together around life-saving information on health, safety, and rights, followed by facilitated dialogue.

Youth Filmmaking

Intensive workshops that equip young people with camera, editing, and storytelling skills — turning them from beneficiaries into content creators.

Media Production

Professional-quality films, radio programs, and digital content produced in local languages, addressing the specific needs of each community.

Mobile Cinema

Solar-powered mobile units that bring film screenings to the most remote and underserved areas where infrastructure is minimal or nonexistent.

Capacity Building

Training community health workers, teachers, and local leaders to use media as a tool for education, advocacy, and social change.

Psychosocial Support

Using therapeutic storytelling and film to support mental health and resilience among trauma-affected populations, especially women and children.
